If you accidentally cause the bodily injury or death of another person during your trip we’ll pay up to $2 million to cover the cost of personal liability. You’re also covered with up to $2 million in compensation if you damage the property of another person.

To be covered, you’ll need to contact us first for written approval before admitting fault or liability for the claim, or incurring any legal costs.

WHEN WE WON’T BE ABLE TO PAY

Here are the main things to look out for. Full details can be found in your policy PDS:
- If the claim made against you is due to you injuring your travel companion or a relative or employee of either you or your travel companions, you won’t be covered.
- I the claim made against you is due to you damaging your property, or property that’s in your care or that you, your travelling companion and either of your relatives or employees have been given control of, you won’t be covered.
- If the claim made against you relates to the use of any aerial device, watercraft or mechanically propelled device, you won’t be covered.
- If the claim made against you is a result of assault or battery committed by you or at your direction, you won’t be covered.
