About you
Im a 26-year-old traveler from the US. I fell in love with travel when I visited Europe on a class trip in 2013 and then studied abroad in Rome in 2017. Since then, I’ve been to 37 countries and lived in South Korea for 3 years! I’m plant-based and I love nature and outdoor activities, and I love taking photos and finding the most photographic places when traveling!!
Why do you travel and look for adventures?
I love feeling small and insignificant when I’m standing in a jaw-droppingly beautiful place, like Railay Beach in Thailand and Ha Long Bay in Viet Nam. I love feeling connected to earth and nature and myself in those moments!
What kind of adventures do you look for when you travel?
I usually search for beautiful scenery, hiking, water activities like snorkeling and kayaking, and delicious vegan food!!
What’s your go-to travel hack?
I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a hack but I love taking public transit when I travel, it makes me feel like I’m getting to see the place like a local and also saves money!!

What destination are you eager to go back to?
Italy!! I lived there for a semester while studying abroad and have visited 2 other times. It’s always at the top of my list. I want to hike in the dolomites and spend summer along the coast on my next trip!
How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
I keep all my important belongings close to me in a fanny pack and I always update my family with my live location. I avoid drinking when traveling alone unless I’m on some kind of bar crawl tour or something!
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local?
I usually like to go through Instagram hashtags in the local language. For example, in Korea, I always search “city name” followed by “hot place” in Korea (서울핫플) to find the places locals are going!
What’s your favourite word in another language?
꽃길만 in Korean, it means “Only the flower path”. Essentially, I only wish good things for you.
When and where are you next travelling?
Currently, I’m on an 8-week trip through South East Asia!! I’m in Malaysia now and I’ll be headed to Bali and Cambodia in the next few weeks, then back to South Korea!
