If for some reason you have changed your mind about your policy, you can cancel it within a 14-day cooling-off period. This period starts on the day you are issued with your Certificate of Insurance.
We will refund your premium with the cooling-off period
- if your trip hasn’t started
- if you haven’t made a claim
- if you don’t want to make a claim or exercise any other right under the policy.
How do I cancel my policy for a refund?
To be eligible for a refund you’ll need to cancel your policy within 14 days from date of purchase.
You can cancel your policy at any other time, but beyond the 14-day cooling-off period we will not refund any part of your premium. You can apply to cancel your policy online.
If you need to make a change to your cover, have your policy number handy. You’ll find that in the Certificate of Insurance we emailed to you.
What happens next?
After we’ve cancelled an eligible policy, a confirmation will be sent to the email address that you provided on the day you bought your policy. Once we’ve issued a refund the funds will reach your bank account within 5-10 working days.
